 | Labs Researchers on Winning Team - Netflix Awards $50,000 Progress Prize for 2008 Congratulations to Chris Volinsky and Bob Bell for being recipients of the 2008 Netflix $50,000 Progress Prize for the second year in a row. This year, Team BellKor collaborated with Yehuda Koren at Yahoo Research and researchers at Commendo Research in Austria to upgrade Netflix's Cinematch recommendation engine by 9.44%.
